Stop Static on Hosiery
Is your sexy new skirt bunching up around your knees or thighs from your pantyhose? Are your slacks sticking to your tights? If so, it’s not unusual this time of year. When the air is dry, static cling is everywhere. We found a few ideas that may help relieve the cling.
- After a shower or bath, dry off and slip into your favorite hosiery. Apply lotion directly through your pantyhose or tights to your legs, front and back.
- Try vinegar as a fabric softener in the rinse cycle with your clothes or a splash while hand rinsing your pantyhose before hanging them up to dry.
- Consider an aerosol hair spray. Spray directly on your pantyhose or tights just under your skirt or before you slip your slacks on.
- A dryer sheet may help and is ”Hosiery Tips” favorite. Rub directly on your hosiery. Keep a few in your purse in case you do not notice till out and about in public.
